Rationing Sarah

At its peak, the Alaska oil pipeline delivered about 2 million barrels per day.

What goes up must come down

Now, it delivers just 700,000 thousand barrels daily.

Spinnin’ wheel got to go round.

Nothing lasts forever, especially superstars from Alaska.

Talkin’ ’bout your troubles it’s a cryin’ sin

Which, naturally, has the McCain campaign fearful.

Ride a painted pony let the spinnin’ wheel spin.

So when you hear people complaining that Sarah Palin hasn’t done more interviews – When will she go on “This Week,” they cry? Why isn’t she booked on “Meet the Press?” It’s not because they’re scared that she’ll make a mistake – it’s because they want to ration her. They’re afraid that she’ll run out!

Just like the pipeline.
