What exactly does CNN find embarrassing?

One Response to “Shout Out”

  1. In the wonderful (yet whacky) world of political correctness, the “n” word is essentially the Holy Grail. It’s symbolism to the extreme left requires that it be treated with utmost reverence. Careless with this sanctity requires a very public pennance to maintain the perception of caring for an oppressed minority.

The obligatory reverence, though, is exempt for Left-leaning black “artists”, presuming they believe fervently in racisim being alive an well in America today. As examples of this exemption, consider the following:

N.W.A. (Niggaz with Attitude) – a “music” group in the late 80s and early 90s
A Tribe Called Quest – a music group with the colorful song “Sucka Nigga”
Notorious B.I.G. – a dearly departed rapper with the senstation hit smash “The Realest Niggaz”
NAS – a current rap/reggae blend, who promoted an album initially entitiled “Nigger” and has the little ditty “Live Nigga Rap” in his portfolio – http://www.absolutelyrics.com/lyrics/view/nas/live_nigga_rap/ . this is a MUST as a ringtone for your mobile.
Snopp Dogg (my personal favorite) – this “legend” released the song “For All My Niggaz and Bitches” and received highly favorable reviews. In the words of the man himself, Snopp always does it doggiestyle.

My advice to CNN – stop pandering to a non-existent PC standard. when the word actually has an identifiable meaning, then you can pretend to be ashamed or not.
